If exploration was a religion, Thor Heyerdhal would be a god.If adventure, the ocean or exploration is your thing, how can you not read this book?Even if it isnt then you still got to read it.

I first read this in high school, it's one of the books that nurtured a love for reading. A documentary, written as high adventure, and with scientific roots and theories. It doesn't get any better for an adventure mined kid.
