Kristen Zajac is the author of "Chasing the Spirit of Service" and "Ebeneezer's Cousin." Ms. Zajac was inspired to write these books in tribute to the courageous military families she met and heard of during her work at United States Central Command. Before becoming an author, Ms. Zajac was an Associate with Booz Allen Hamilton in Tampa, Florida where she worked on-site at USCENTCOM, MacDill Air Force Base, writing threat assessments for deployed service members. Prior to joining Booz Allen, Ms. Zajac worked at FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C. as an analyst in the Counterterrorism Division. She was awarded a 1997 Presidential Management Fellowship in Washington, D.C. by the Office of Personnel Management. Ms. Zajac earned a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stetson University. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Ms. Zajac and her husband reside in Florida and are the proud parents of boy girl twins who love books as much as they do.
