I enjoyed the multiple story lines, seeing potentials for more books based on each character.The shift away from technology also was well explained, & the 'future' books made more sense.
This was one Pern novel that I didn't care very much for, despite the series being among my favourites. There were some quibbles, but overall it's still a decent read, just not a great one.
