by Ross King, M. Tacchetti
An interesting biography of Filippo Brunelleschi, including the design and construction of the Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral in Florence, as well as the design and building of some pretty impressive construction machinery. Totally gripping story about the building of a cathedral, because I love that kind of stuff. As do all the fans of The Pillars of the Earth.
