Not going to lie, Rachel is my favorite. For more than one reason its fitting that it be from her perspective that the 'David' trilogy ends. Tobias is not the only member of the Animorphs to have been changed forever by the war with the Yeerks. They all have been scarred and have grown in response...
This review contains spoilers -ish Let's judge the David trilogy by the Star Wars Test. The Discovery doesn't quite pass because there's nothing resolved at the end. I suppose you could say the initial bit of the blue box story is wrapped up, but the book itself ends on a cliffhanger in the middle...
