Oscar Wilde’s play always have a lot more to say than what we actually understand. There is always quite an abundance of irony, satire, sarcasm and whatnot in each of his words. 'Lady Windermere's Fan' is no less. This play reveals - how does a society or should I say a pseudo-society play a vital r...

A very simple plot made fascinating by characters who leap off the page with sharp dialogue that cuts to the heart of the matter. Damn, I would love to play Mrs. Erlynne.

Wilde es extraño. Me paso lo mismo q con Ideal Husband.Son obras cortas, sin mucho sentido, osea si, pero no trascendental. No será pecado si no leo todas sus obras

Of course telling the truth would be way too easy...not to mention abbreviating the play considerably :-) and depriving us of much Wilde wit. I had no idea that some of those well-known quotations are from this play.
