This started out as a nice, very spicy second chance love story. I liked Erin and found her to be relate-able and very open in regards to what she liked. I liked her brothers and appreciated how they were not overbearing assholes. I was less impressed with Todd and his inability to communicate his d...
A good erotic romance with a surprisingly heavy plot and the relationship took an interesting turn. I liked how the characters grew throughout the story and the sex was really hot. Erin and Todd meet again after ten years both changed people and Todd tries to convince Erin to give him another chanc...
I have been picking some truly sucky books these days.. DNFed at page 128. Can't do it. This book is terrible. Things progress way to fast, the writing is mediocre and the BDSM is just ridiculous. Why so many people like it, I have no idea. I respectfully disagree.
I read Lauren Dane's Brown Series out of order, having read all the other books except Laid Bare some time ago. I don't know why I didn't read this one sooner. I was hooked after the 1st chapter and never closed the book. There were some serious sexual gymnastics - can't be avoided with 3 people, bu...
I'd give it a 5 for all that sex, bdsm, threesome thing going on... But story wise, it was alright... Erin Brown plays on a rock band with her brother and knows what she wants and how she wants it... and she wants Todd, a police officer who lives next to her apartment. And despite the chemistry, Tod...
This is that rare m/f romance where the Him-Dominant/Her-Submissive relationship doesn't clash with my feminism. It is clearly a bedroom-only power exchange without the ritual and role-play. Erin is a strong, tough woman who knows what she likes, and she likes to get her freak on. The story is g...
This book started out really good and I enjoyed the first 40% or so. After that, no. It fell completely flat, so different from the beginning, it was as if it was written by a different author. I recommend the first part, but then stop and do your self a favor, don't read the rest.
2.5/5; 3 stars; C+I've had several Lauren Dane books on my TBR pile for quite a while so thought I'd check this out. I can see why she is a popular writer. I quite liked the essential story line of this book. I like a book that explores how strong people can be as well as the healing process. The ...
Ok, so this book was....different. But I have to say that there was clear transference of emotion, and there was definitely more than substantial story line in here. I liked how smooth the POV transitions were, and just the way the characters related to each other. I think that the book was really w...
The story is 5 Stars....The narration is 2.5/3 stars...This is one of my favorite series...I was so excited when I found out it was coming out in audio...that excitement diminished quite a bid once I started listening....The beginning has a lot of "over emphasizing" and while it tones down a bit lat...
