Lane M. Arnold, a Christ-centered spiritual director and writer, loves walking intimately with God. Creativity and curiosity fill her life; joy imprints her heart. From the training ground of a certificate in Christian Formation and Soul Care from Denver Seminary alongside her personal journey through the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, Lane delights in exploring the Holy Trinity's invitations. She passionately encourages others to go deeper into the language of the heart. A retired elementary school teacher, B.S.H.E. (UGA), M. Ed. in Early Childhood Development (GA State University), Lane taught second grade. She was also a special areas teacher in the fields of reading, English to Speakers of Other Languages, science, and computers. Her fifth grade teacher, a high school language arts teacher, and a grad school professor inspired her to write often and read voraciously.Playing with words, she now creates blogs, devotionals, fiction, nonfiction, poetry, prayers, and prose, inticing others to the heart of God. She still likes to write old-fashioned hand-written letters.Laughter, long talks, and lingering walks are signatures of time together with her three intriguingly-unique grown children, daughter-in-love, and grandchild. Most weekends, you will find Lane exploring the wild beauty of Colorado with her husband, her high school sweetheart.
