Oh my, oh my...After the last book (which I rated 3 stars..) and after how things ended I didn't know what to expect.. Lara surely re-invented the series while keeping what's important to the story - The characters we SO love and the ones we wanted to see as grown-ups. Now, there are so many opportu...
Title: Edge of DawnSeries: Midnight Breed bk 11Author: Lara AdrianGenre: ParanormalTwenty years after the terror of First Dawn—when mankind learned that vampires lived secretly among them—the threat of violence reigns as the two species struggle to coexist. The only group preserving the fragile harm...
How long does a series have to go before it’s gone too far? With so many characters and having to remember their back story, this was like reading with a bunch of marbles in my head. I almost wish this were a spin off rather than a continuation of the original. Something like the Young Justice cartoo...
BETRAYALIt cuts quickly.Bleeds so slow, seep.An ache so deep. You can't reach.Broken and untenable.A tightness in the chest.Hard to breathe. No rest.A pounding in the ears.Finding out your worst fear. You suffer it alone. It follows you.Be gone. You can't understand, equate.Do you love or do you hate?You...
This might end up being the last one of these I read. The next one isn't out yet (and isn't due out until next year), so I might change my mind before then. There were some things left open in the last book, but I was happy with how that one ended. Not as happy about where this one is taking the ser...

Overall, this was a great read, but it was odd at first adjusting to Mira being all grown up after so many ...
Rebellentruppe...
It's interesting that the series skipped so far ahead into the future. The focus is obviously going to be on a new generation. I think it is a smart move, because Ms. Adrian had pretty much used up all of her available couples from the first generation.
Betrayal, lost love and human terrorist against vampires - what more could a angst loving vampire paranormal lover need? In Edge of Dawn, it's many books into the series. I've not read any of the earlier ones and now I'm hooked and will go back to read the first ten.Starting this late in the series...
Eh. It had all the right bits in all the right places. Sex, violence, misunderstandings and miscommunications, mystical hoodoo with little internal consistency... But the time jump made it hard for me to connect with anyone in the story. It wasn't a bad book but it didn't reach out and grab me eithe...
