Larry Abrams received an A.B. from the University of Chicago and an A.M. from the University of Pennsylvania. After working in the 9 to 5 world for four years, he left it forever at age 24 to reclaim his time and do a lot of reading, supporting himself by entrepreneurial efforts which were not time intensive.In his misspent youth he became chess champion of New York Mensa and the state of Connecticut, neither of which feats he could remotely hope to duplicate today. He enjoys writing, reading fiction and philosophy, listening to music and to recorded lectures on various topics, fast cars, cats, movies, musicals, plays, and speed chess.
