Both funny and informative but at times Adams seemed to get bogged down in the descriptions about the inconveniences (all human caused of course) they experienced while travelling rather than the descriptions about the animals themselves.

It's by Douglas Adams and if you look through my what-I-read lists, then this review is not going to present anything new about my love of Adams. It's a bit more somber than his usual, but still contains some of his best descriptions and observations. This nonfiction book from Douglas Adams about endangered species is a delightful read with plenty of his renowned humor. I have given it as gifts and recommended it to many.

This piqued my interest on the thought that if these species ...

Last Chance to See chronicles Douglas Adams and Mark Carwardine's trips to far flung places to see, and call attention to, endangered and borderline extinct animal species. I listened to the audio, read by Douglas himself (except for the very end which is read by Mark Carwardine), and it was brillia...
