This was a (too short) angsty read about best friends who have loved each other from afar, both afraid to admit their feelings out of fear or shame. However, it ends in a touching coming together with that coveted HEA!
Not a bad story, just nothing amazing either. I wanted to like this since friends to lovers is a favorite of mine. But I also like to really connect to a story and this time I didn't.
More, more, more! So much depth and emotion in just 20 some pages. Love me some Piper Vaughn!
