Laura DiSilverio is the national best-selling author of seventeen (and counting) mystery and suspense novels, including the Readaholics Book Club series and The Reckoning Stones, a Colorado Book Award winner. She spent twenty years as an Air Force intelligence officer before retiring to write and parent full-time. Her teen daughters coaxed her into writing a young adult novel, and the result is the Incubation Trilogy (because three is better than one, right?). She is a past President of Sisters in Crime and a frequent keynote speaker and teacher at writers conferences and events. She plots murder and parents teens in Colorado, trying to keep the two tasks separate.

I read the first in this series without high hopes, frankly, and I was pleasantly surprised by it. It had great characters, with a strong focus on friendships and family, and I really liked the chemistry between the MC Amy-Faye, and Detective Hart. When one of the members dies unexpectedly and the death is ruled suicide, Amy-Faye and her friends question the validity of the ruling. I liked the char...

Using Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express, Amy-Faye solves the murder of her brother's business partner. The cast of characters is fun as the Readaholics are working to solve the murder while being warned by the police to stay out of it. They have cast everyone having to do with Gordon Ma...

Excellent cozy mystery where Amy-Faye does not let the ME's verdict of suicide go. She knows her friend was murdered and sets out to prove it. I like how The Maltese Falcon the book group is reading is wound throughout the story. Maud's critique of it is right on and is what happens in this book. Th...
