Laura Nielsen has been telling stories as long as she can remember. She has been writing them down ever since she discovered left over pages at the back of her spelling notebook at the end of third grade. So far, two of her stories have been published as books: Mrs. Muddle's Holidays and Jeremy's Muffler. She has also had stories published in Ladybug, Babybug, Hightlights, and The Friend. She has a husband, five children, one daughter-in-law, and one grandchild, all of whom are exceptional and deserve to be celebrated. The family also includes five parakeets who have a lot to say about what goes on. Mrs. Nielsen currently lives in Northern Virginia.
