As a chiropractor dedicated to helping people get well, it took me a while to realize that I could connect with even more people by writing! "The Antioxidant Counter" was my first published piece, and "The DASH Diet Cookbook" and "The Low GI Slow Cooker" soon followed. All three of these books really bring together much of the nutritional information that I discuss with patients every day. I am absolutely passionate about helping people to realize the power and healing potential of their own bodies, and am fortunate to help people get well from a variety of health issues and conditions, simply by freeing up that amazing healing power within. There's a lot of science and physiology that goes into it, but it's really that simple: it's about reconnecting the brain and body so that healing can occur. While helping patients receives the majority of my time, I also love traveling with my husband, Paul, and reading just about anything.
