by Jude Deveraux
I can't remember the last time I read a romance novel. They were all I ever used to read. Then I picked up Gone Girl... After that I started reading psychological thrillers and the romance novels fell by the wayside. I thought it would be fun to pick one up after all this time, especially one by a ...
Jude Deveraux is one of a handful of writers that I was always eager to pick up when I was going through my romance phase a few years ago. I remember feeling like I could count her as an old friend. I had laid off the genre for a while but am now picking up some oldies that are in a pile on my Negle...
How can one book make me smile and cry at the same time. Fell me heart but also break it. I loved Luke and Joce, but the end was rushed, too rushed. David and Eddie broke my heart, it's so unfair that they were both alive, madly in love after all these years, but didn't know the other one is alive,...
Audiobook: this was a sweet quick listen. I enjoyed it just not blown away! I laughed out loud more than a few times.

Although I did not think it was as good as other books by Jude Deveraux, it was a good read.
Loved this book. Its a nice light read, not really angsty. Loved Luke, so-so but leans toward likes on Jocelyn. Will definitely read the rest of the series.
This was the first book in Deveraux's new Edilean series, and I am looking forward to reading the next one!Romance type books are not usually my first pick, but this one contained enough of a mystery that it continued to hold my interest, and I didn't feel that the romance was too over the top.
