Fascinated by the written word, Lawrence Buentello began writing fiction and poetry at an early age. Determined to live the life of a bibliophile, he received his BA in English Literature from the University of the Incarnate Word and worked in academic libraries for more than twenty-five years.Working in multiple genres, Buentello has published over 120 short stories and innumerable poems in journals, magazines, and anthologies, many of which can be found in several volumes of collected fiction and poetry.
