Dr. Keith received a B.S. degree in chemistry from Stetson University, M.S. degree from Clemson University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. He began his career in 1966 as a research scientist with the Southeast Water Research Laboratory in Athens, GA and this became one of EPA's first national laboratories when EPA was created in 1970. He worked for 21 years at Radian International in Austin, TX and now lives in Georgia and provides consulting and expert witness testimony in legal cases. Over the past 40+ years he has published over 50 printed and electronic books and expert systems (including some of the world's first e-Books in the 1980s). He is an internationally recognized expert in the field of environmental analytical chemistry and has provided hundreds of presentations to industrial, government, and academic institutions and scientific meetings and organizations all over the world. He is a past chair of the American Chemical Society's Division of Environmental Chemistry and maintains an active interest in publishing and chemistry.
