Born in 1950, I have been a pilot for all of my working life. I flew over 600 combat missions in Vietnam and since then have traveled over most of the Earth flying private jets for corporations and wealthy individuals. About half of my career has been in management positions.If ever there was a case of life experience informing what a writer writes, I am that case in point. I have met people from all walks of life – rich, poor, of every imaginable religion and of every color – and I have liked almost all of them. It’s only a small stretch for me to imagine liking aliens.I began writing 20 years ago. Spirit of Empire is my second series. The first series was a learning experience, though it might one day see a publisher. That will depend on how much interest you generate in my work.
