Pretty ho-hum, but readable vampire novel. Had elements which could have led to a great read but ended up falling back on stock vampire issues, even when it was trying to be different.
I skimmed a lot less of this book (than its predecessor) but by 1/4 through I couldn't take it anymore. I should've known by the first book that this book isn't really readable either.I hope her Prime series is better.
