Leah L. White is a librarian, manager, and readers' advisor. Currently she is the Head of Popular Materials at the Ela Area Public Library and lives in Chicago. In 2012 she was named a Library Journal Mover & Shaker for her work in community engagement. The award is bestowed upon 50 librarians internationally annually.Leah created the Young Librarian Series, a Tame the Web community for librarians under the age of 40, and co-founded of the Chicago Deskset with Dr. Anthony Molaro and Adam Girard.
