A sweet twist on the Grinch scenario. Gordon bottles up his anger and resentment along with loneliness and pain to the point where his bitterness overshadows everything that has importance in his life. Holly is the optimist that turns his life upside down and pulls him kicking and screaming into the...

This story was okay. It had an interesting enough plot but moved kind of slow. What you knew was going to happen waited until the last couple pages and resolved too quickly. Emma is asked to be secretary for and spy on Damien whose job is to restructure the company.

First reads: A Maverick for Christmas is a winner, not usually one to read holiday tales because of the whole cliche, I was a bit skeptical but Leanne Banks was fabulous. A Maverick for Christmas won me over. I adored Abigail for her sweetness and I loved Cade for his attitude, I couldn't wait to ge...

The hero is just this side of being an asshole, and while I like alphas he put me off a little bit. I like the heroine well enough, but wonder why on the ebook cover she's a brune...

Their neighbour is the heroi...

I wanted to read this book because of the side character, Wilhelmina, but the leading lady grated on my nerves so badly I couldn't finish.Katie it is ashamed of her mother unabashedly taking many lovers when she was alive and it is used to illustrate how low class Katie feels her past is; maybe this...
