I started writing stories and drawing cartoons around the age of ten. I already knew what I wanted to do. My tastes were already centered around the odd and unusual, so that's what I created. A voracious consumer of comic books, monster movies and supernatural literature, that's what I wrote.During my teens and twenties I got involved in theater. I acted, did backstage work, even directed, wrote scripts and ran my own company. I worked with and briefly studied with Obie Award winning playwright Megan Terry. Eventually I gave up working in the theater. I even gave up writing. I felt like I needed to focus on "the real world." It was the worst mistake I ever made.Recently I've come back to writing, and I feel like I'm doing the right thing again. I've had some publications in online & print zines, and now have a story in Omnium Gatherum Media's anthology "Detritus." I also have several more stories in upcoming publications. My focus is still on the odd & unusual, and you'll discover that when you read my work. Once you've set foot down that path, there's no going back! You can read some silly stories and buy original cartoon artwork by me at WelcomeToWeirdsville.com
