3.5The premise of Past Perfect is pretty original and greatly entertaining--setting a modern day story within a Colonial reenactment village. As a historical fan I was immediately drawn into the story due to the premise. The downsides to the book are more reflective of the "typical" romantic drama t...

I thought this was a super cute, fluffy, easy read. It's not going to move mountains or increase your IQ, but it will make you laugh. Plus, I love the idea of using a Colonial Reenactment village as a background. I also loved the War going on between The Civil Warriors and Colonials....again, cut...

A cute, fluffy contemporary YA novel. I loved the setting. The characters could have been more developed, but the storyline was very enjoyable. A great "beach read."

After her recent break-up with Ezra, all she wants is change. But, when her best fr...

The book was well written, let me start with that. I think Leila Sales could write great books. This just wasn't it for me...What I really dislike in books is when the main characters have a big fight or betray each other. I cannot seem to forgive the characters after that. This book is no exception....

I knew I was going to love this book. I’m a true history geek at heart, civil war, colonial I love it all. I’m a total sucker for period dress, and yes I’m one of those people you see at the Renaissance Faire dressed in costume and if 18th and 19th century costumes were so expensive I would probabl...

Cute enough but rather forgettable. I'd say this would go over much better with its intended audience.
