Unlike the last short story I read set in this world, this book does not strike me as entirely pointless. Lenobia isn’t dead, she’s a semi-important character and this story is useful. After all, a plot point in the main series is that Neferet has introduced a horse-loving human (that sounded wrong,...
Since I already knew how this played out (thanks HON series for spoilers), I knew things weren't going to end well. But I am captivated by Lenobia's character. As a former horse-rider and lover of animals, I am drawn to her and her past. This book was short, dramatic and so sad. It's funny how suc...
Lenobia’s Vow takes us through her life. She is in charge of the stable at the House of Night, and teaches riding. Lenobia’s past was emotional. Loving someone so much and only having them taken from you is horrible. She went through some terrible things growing up and as an adult that led up to her...
Loved this book! It was really different than the first novella Dragon's Oath, but so beautiful! If you're not a HoN fan then you probably shouldn't read it :P But it's a really nice addition to the series and I already loved Lenobia
Apart from being in cahoots with the ever infamous House of Night Series, this book was far more tame. It was interesting to know Lenobia's backstory and all, BUT it was so SAPPY. It was very Historical romance style, with that dashing young buff man who is sadly unattainable but yet you love him so...
2.5 starsIt was nice to get Lenobia's back-story, I really like her in the HoN novels. However, I don't understand why there had to be a very bad bishop present, or why Lenobia had to start her new life on a lie. Or why the authors didn't pay a translator a few bucks to make the French correct in ...
Talk about writing a character your readers will love to hate. I wish I had read this before Destined or that I owned Destined so I could go back and reference some things that I think might be going on. Overall a very enjoyable read with very emotional ties.
Wow, this was extremely sad. What's with the author and giving all of these teachers such horrendous pasts? I actually was fearful for Lenobia for a majority of this book. The Bishop made an excellent villain - evil, terrifying, not one ounce of good in him. Oh but how I loved Martin and am now intr...
