Good introduction by Leonard Maltin. This is not only first Dahl's book but also first book that Bill Justice illustrated. This is probably the wrong edition, but spent one summer just recording the movies he rated most highly and discovered some fantastic hidden gems.Favourite review? For the disco-exploitation thriller called "Friday night": "A must-see for morons".

A cute simple story, and a great explanatory intro by Leonard Maltin. Not as subtle as Dahl's later work, but I'm glad I read it.
