A wonderful introduction to the life, times, and work of the illustrator who became the father of the modern picture book. Handsomely designed and illustrated with excellent reproductions of samples of Caldecott's body of work.
If you love picture books, old or new, you will love this book of interviews with picture book illustrators. They are all here, all the artists you love, from Robert McCloskey to Mo Willems. Fabulous.
