I was born in Ripatransone (1953), and I teach "History of Modern and Contemporary Philosophy" at the "Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia" of the University of Urbino (Italy). I have taught "Psicologia dinamica"(Dinamic Psychology), "Psichiatria" (Psychiatry), and "Storia delle religioni in Cina" (History of Religions in China) at the "Facoltà di Psicologia", and at the "Facoltà di Lingue Orientali".I make lecture tours about philosophic topics such as Nonsense philosophy, Zen Buddhism, Nietzsche, esthetics, and many others. Nonsense philosophy represents my personal contribution to philosophy, which I dealt with in books such as Del nonsense (About Nonsense), Il sogno della farfalla, (The Dream of A Butterfly) Memorie di un funambolo (Tightrope Walkers), and others coming soon.I give courses of meditation inspired by Zen Buddhism and Sufism on topics such as death, music, and love.I have written many books which have been published by the principal Italian publishers, such as Arnoldo Mondadori, Rizzoli, and Piemme (see an incomplete list on this page). My book Samurai has been on the Top Ten for weeks.I try to synthesize Eastern and Western philosophy from a psychological point of view. I believe that art, above all music, may be a greater organon of knowledge than formal logic.I have translated some Classics of Eastern philosophy, such as Confucius, Laozi, Zhuangzi, Dogen, and Brahmanic texts, from Chinese, Japanese, and Sanskrit into Italian.Above all, I like Nietzsche, Bob Dylan, Zen, and Chinese language.I like playing synthesizer and keyboards, and composing ambient music. "No sound" and "No thought" are my goals in philosophy.I devote all my books to not dogmatic readers who are capable of personal reflections without any biases.
