The Conan stories by Robert E. Howard are some of the best you will ever read. It is such a shame the Howard died at such an early age. I would love to have seen where he would have taken Conan.I can't recommend these story highly enough!!

Adam has anger issues. Some of them may even be justified. Now all he wants to do is try and be a better father and leave the ghosts of his past in the rear-view mirror. Moving next door to an infamous old house where a dozen children were brutally tortured and killed wasn’t really a part of the pla...

This is one of those examples where you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. For some reason I really didn't like the cover of this book, however the content was actually not all that bad. It is a shame that by this time many of the people that really liked the original Fighting Fantasy gamebooks h...

Book Review Poison Poison contains all the elements of the classic Snow White fairy tale but has a lot of unexpected twists and turns, turning this tale into a dark, sexy and brutal Snow White that is not to be forgotten. The story is told from the evil stepmother’s point of view, it becomes app...

Definitely not Walt Disney's Snow White! but a very modern, spicy, entertaining rendition of the traditional story. I can't wait to see what the next two books in the series are like!

12/07 - While I'm enjoying the story it's not a new twist on the original Snow White - it's very similar to the ABC tv show Once Upon a Time. So much so that it almost feels as if some of the ideas (the Evil Queen being evil because of her upbringing; Snow White being less of the dainty, perfect pr...

Beautiful, kind and demure. Exactly what he’d always wanted. A perfect princess. Only nothing is quite as it seems in Sarah Pinborough’s retelling of the classic fairy tale of Snow White and the seven dwarves.I’ll start this with a short excursion into the surrounding circumstances of my reading of ...

I love fairytale retellings. When I saw this I knew straight away that I'd read it. This is told mostly from Snow Whites stepmothers, the evil queen, POV. She is only a few years older than Snow White and was forced to marry the king. She is unhappy and extremely jealous of Snow. Poison is dark, del...
