Lester Gorn conducted a story lab and taught world literature and world drama for many years at University of California Extension and Monterey Peninsula College. In the olden days, he served as book editor and daily columnist of the San Francisco Examiner and as the sole instructor (and only honky) of the San Francisco Black Writers' Workshop.The father of four sons, he now lives in Pacific Grove, California, with his wife, Winnie.
