Well, what can I say? I just had to pick it up. Even after the issues I had with the first book, Sno Ho, it just couldn't not follow up on how Boone and Wade were doing after their holiday fling ended. And I am glad I did. For one, I felt like it was all a little more settled, a little slo...
Have you ever been embarrassed for loving a book? Not for loving any book, but for loving a certain book? I mean, I enjoy lots and lots of generic, simple, sticky sweet, unbelievable types of books. I do. Still...I have NO idea how this happened...but this book wiggled it's way into my heart...BI...
Not quite as good as the first but I still had fun with Boone. He was as snarky and sarcastic as ever. Nothing really turned me off, but I think this book could have been cut to about half it's length. There wasn't really anything new or exciting going on. I loved Boone and the journey he took with ...
3.5As deliciously snarky as the first book. Boone is definitely a character that I love. This addresses what happens after the HEA, uprooting your life and upsetting your friends when you find love and find yourself leaving parts of your old life behind. I really felt for Gabe, a lot. The friendship...
Day makes me laugh like few other authors can which I think is kinda weird because I'm not usually a fan of absurdity, but I can't help myself. This is an amusing story of love, doubts, and friendship. Sweet and irreverent, I laughed at things that I would probably disavowing to in polite company, b...
What a disappointing read after Sno Ho! The book felt like a hastily drawn up sequel with little thought spared for an interesting plot line. Add to that, that Boone's once hilarious comments soon turn into insufferable rambling. The book is also poorly edited.
About this cover, I can't say it any better than Lucas Lyons did in his review of Sno Ho:"--Warning: Do not look at the cover of Life In Fusion. I have no idea who is depicted on the cover but they certainly bear no resemblance to the word picture of the lovers in the book. I think they must be some...
I liked the first part (Sno Ho) very much, but this one was even better. Boone, the first person narrator, is just hilarious - his ramblings and banter is so funny and entertaining, I laughed out loud several times. But though it was a light-hearted romance, it has also substance. The family, friend...
I adore the zaniness that is Ethan Day. I love Wade and Boone. I’ve fought my GR friend Monika for Boone and lost...but I’m holding fast onto Wade. Hear that? He’s mine! He is such a love and so in love with Boone it hurts. Ain’t love grand? This entirely satisfactory sequel to Sno Ho took a little ...
I enjoyed this (and the story before it, Sno Ho) quite a bit. A very cute story with lovable characters (complete with their loveable quirks and flaws) and a plot that really made me believe that love-at-first-sight can end with a happily-ever-after.
