I visited Douglas Adams' grave at Highgate and partook in the tradition of leaving a pen. I'm not sure why that's done by so many. Were Adams' pens always running out of ink? I would have left a towel, but I didn't have one with me. Call me an idiot (I've been called worse) but until recently I d...

I like that Arthur starts doing things and not reacting to things in this, and I like that Trillian gets fed up and goes and does what she wants and is generally the smartest person in the book, but plotwise this seemed to be the least thought out so far, with them just pinging around time and space...

Philosophical Musings of a Book Nerd
I'm going to have to be honest here and admit that I really wasn't all that impressed with this book. "One of hte interesting things about space," Arthur heard Slartibartfast saying . . . "is how dull it is?" "Dull?" . . . "Yes," said Slartibartfast, "staggeringly dull. Bewilderingly so. You see, there's so much of it and so little in it." Between General Busy-ness and having a hard time locati...

I just didn't enjoy this as much as the first 2... I don't know if it was due to the book, or my reading slump, but it really seemed to drag. Might try again in the future to see if it improves.
