A really intense short read, enjoyable though.
Quick review for an intense short story. "Light a Candle for the Beast" is a very intriguing world, written in a distinctive and gripping style, and dealing with some powerful issues. I got totally caught up -- and disagreed strongly with the ending, a sign of just how caught up I was.
