Really liked the perspective of the 12 year old daughter who, with her father, finds an abandoned newborn alive in the snow.
Not bad. As a guilty pleasure, I generally like books written from an adolescent POV (as long as they're well written), and this was one of those. Nothing earth-shattering here, but it held my interest and certainly started off with a bang.
File under airport. Despite the snow, file under beachreaders.
This coming-of-age story had beautiful writing about grief and loss, but the ending seemed pat and had no adult perspective at the conclusion.
