I absolutely loved this too.And he's back!!!!!
I'm on page 64 and I'm beyond sick of her whining, feeling sorry for herself and morosely dwelling in the past. She keeps saying she can't help against a serial killer who is killing her acquaintances because it brings up bad memories. All she does is think about her bad memories! What a self-absorb...
Synopsis: It's been almost a year since the events of Working for the Devil. Now, part demon and Necromance bounty hunter Dante *Danny* Valentine has thrown herself into bounty after bounty to forget losing her demon lover Japhrimel who got himself attached to her by the Devil himself.Jace has decid...
I did not like this book nearly as much as the first book. I was sick of hearing about Japhrimel and Jace. To be one hundred percent honest, at one point, I thought to myself "Is this book New Moon?" (I know this book was written before New Moon, but I read New Moon first). I love the world, the ...
I loved this one just as much as the first one. I adore Danny a stupid amount, I cried a bunch, and the end made me very, very happy. I loved the whole plotline with the school and the way the different characters dealt with the wounds they received in childhood. I loved Dante's insistence that s...
The book opens about ten months after the first book in the series. Dante is pushing herself hard, trying to forget her loss, while at the same time doing as much research as possible to learn about what she's become.Gabe calls her in for help after three people have been brutally murdered. The late...

It'd be an interesting (but too much like snuff) setting for ...
Just couldn't get into it. I liked some parts which is why I decided to read the second and third books but I had to give it up. Dante became a little whiny and for me, she needed to grow up and expand her emotional horizons. The plot was good, I just couldn't connect with the character.
First of all this is a kick ass cover. Love it! Reminds me of a female ninja. I like this story because Dante reminds me of Anita Blake but better. Dante is good at her job but she seems to be blurring the lines more and more. I sucked this book down right after the first one. It's good to find...
The story line was interesting, but the book was like 75% inner dialogue. It wouldn't be a bad thing if her thoughts weren't so repetitive. I wanted to scream after the fifth time she thought: "Remember Rigger Hall. Remember," recalled lucifer saying, "Can it be you have not resurrected him," or ...
