Linda Bamber is in the English Department of Tufts University where she teaches courses on Short Fiction, Buddhism and American Poetry, Shakespeare, and Women's Fiction. Her poetry collection, Metropolitan Tang, appeared in 2008; Taking What I Like, a collection of short stories based on Shakespeare plays, is due in April 2013. She is the author of the first feminist critical book on Shakespeare, Comic Women, Tragic Men, from Stanford University Press. Her poems, stories, essays and reviews have appeared in such places as The Harvard Review, the New York Times Book Review, The Kenyon Review, Tikkun, The Nation, Raritan, and Ploughshares.
