Linda Baten Johnson grew up in White Deer, a small town in the panhandle of Texas. In second and third grades, she won blue ribbons for her storytelling ability which encouraged her to tell stories for the rest of her life. She's writes squeaky clean romances and stories for middle grade readers. Linda has also written 50 readers theater scripts in addition to magazine and newspaper articles, and short stories. Linda earned her Master of Arts degree in English and history, worked as a Realtor, a teacher, and logged many volunteer hours. As volunteers, she and her husband have worked in the visitor center of a fish hatchery, lived in a lighthouse, and manned a visitor center in a National Park in northern Minnesota.
