For many years I wrote books "out of a filing cabinet" These were my books on kitchen antiques and antiques. Then I did a series of participatory books -- diaries and journals for adults, mostly women. Then a series of such books -- from diaries to scrapbooks to stationery products -- for young girls (The Diarygirl series). But all along I have used my imagination, and I've always written stories. So now, in my 70s, I'll work on fiction. I'll be doing a graphic novel this summer for McFarland & Co., Publishers, about a young woman who goes to NYC in the 1960s to become a famous artist. What do you think happens?! I also have been participating in NANOWRIMO... National Novel Writing Moth, November every year. Hundreds of thousands of writers all over the world participate. I hope to finish up all three done so far. On the internet, for blogs, art, videos, I use the name BARKINGLIPS. See Vimeo, You Tube, and blogspot.com. I use various pen names, Linda Campbell Franklin, Linda C. Franklin, Linda Franklin, Ninda Dumont, and Grace McFarland.
