A short, sweet story. It didn't really get to me, though. Another thing was that I generally like books where the heroines falls for the hero first. In this book it was the exact opposite. But still, Kathleen was very warm and loving.
I feel like Derek got cheated out of a full length novel. Though I can't say I disliked Kathleen, I didn't feel the connection to either character I expected to. This definitely isn't a favorite.
