The big news is the republication of my 1969 novel TALK by New York Review Books Classics, this time presented as its authentic self--as based on actual audiotapes made by three friends, (one of whom might be me), mostly on the beach at East Hampton, over the summer of '65. It launched on July 7th, and is, happily, attracting a lot of attention, with positive reviews in the New Republic, Paris Review, LA Times, NY Times (3x), the Guardian, Harpers, The Toast, Millions and more. It is the NYRB Classics selection for July.
