I tried to get into this, but think I may need to take a romance break. This and some other books I started and didn't finish ended up irking the life out of me. There's a love triangle, or whatever you want to call it when one person is dating/sleeping with someone else, but still thinking of anoth...

A special thank you to Edelweiss and Harper for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. What should've been a proposal on a vacation turns into a break for Liv and Adam. From here things further spiral out of control as Adam tries to climb out of the hole he's dug while Liv throws herself into her v...

This was a great read for a rainy afternoon. An engaging love story with a lot of banter and sense of humor. The love story itself was a bit predictable, but entertaining enough.

A summer bestseller from the immensely popular Lindsey Kelk Being arrested in your own bedroom is never a good start to the day. Tess Brookes really needs to sort out her back-stabbing flatmate – and her life. Should she gamble all on the new photography job she’s landed, or snap up the offer fr...

This book was excellent. I have been super excited about this book since Lindsey first announced. For me reading an I heart book is like being with a friend you love but haven’t seen for ages. Its excellent. Christmas is my absolute favourite time of year. The food, the music, the decorations… sorry...

This is perfectly adequate chick lit but with no noticeable depth and a sadly charmless heroine - which doesn't help. There's nothing really wrong with it, but Angela doesn't have the pizzazz to hold the plotline together and I simply wasn't interested in her or her problems. It's almost as if the a...

I think I may have just fell in love.... From the location to Tess to Kekipi to Nick. Where do I start. At first I felt like I might be cheating on Angela (I Heart series) a little bit but I soon realised Angela and Tess would be besties if they ever met. Tess is a LOT like me. Firstly we are both b...

I wish I was better at writing reviews as I don't know how to write a good enough review to do this book justice! I absolutely loved it. I think I enjoyed it more than any of the 'I Heart' books and I think Lindsey Kelk may now be my favourite chick lit author. This was probably the most readable bo...

This was a very short, very light read. I contemplated giving it 2 stars because it was so short and didn't have a chance to really go nowhere, but the 61 pages of story that it did have was an enjoyable enough read. 3 stars.

This reader's personal opinion, ©2013, all rights reserved.* I like this series and the main character. Well written (a few odd typos) and less "shopaholic-y" chick lit but farfetched in parts. The big secret of the movie star she was interviewing was a letdown as not that big a scandal in the pl...
