Researcher and attorney Lindsey Chepke (1979 -- ) was born in upstate NY and educated at Wells College and Benjamin Cardozo School of Law. After completing her law degree, she practiced trust and estate law for close to a year before entering academia. She has co-authored a book and several journal articles. The book, Medical Malpractice, received an honorable mention in the Economics category of the 2008 PROSE Awards presented by the Professional/Scholarly Publishing Division of the Association of American Publishers.
