This romantic suspense had a good plot with exciting action and a hero in pursuit but I didn't care for the heroine. She held her secret for too long and made poor choices when she should have been with his supportive friends. Firefighter Tommy tries to start a romance with nurse Shea.
Opening Line: “Go wide! Go wide! Come on Skyler pass the ball!” Line Of Fire is book #4 in in the romantic, suspenseful and sexy firefighters of station five series. This time through we get apparent Brad Pitt lookalike Tommy Skylar’s story. At 23 he’s the youngest member of ‘A’ shift, a former ...
This one was ... okay. Not my favorite but not the worst. I don't know. Some of the cheesy lines are still bothering me that Davis comes up with. The romantic scenes seem to be the same in each book, the names just change. It was just okay. I might read it again if I run out of other stuff ... don't...
Eh. I read the first three books in this series and enjoyed them. They have you typical cheesy romance stuff and alpha males but it worked. I was eager to get to Sean's book and actually considered skipping this one to get to it... I wouldn't have missed much. This couple just didn't do it for me....
This is book four in the Firefighters of Station Five series. For you to get the most out of the book you need to read this series in order. I hope that his hand heals! I'm glad that him and Shea got past their histories and became happy. Their st...
Hmmm, yet again, this series just doesn't seem to click very well with me. Sure, it's hot (at times), sure it's sweet (at times), sure it's suspenseful (again, at times), there's just something there, which I cannot put my finger on, that doesn't work that well for me.The pacing was good, the charac...
4.5 stars. OMG. This was a really good one. Sorry for the disjointed thoughts that follow. I want to do this without spoilers, and I'm sitting at work, too, hiding my monitor *g*. Just a couple things kept it from being a 5-star read for me, and they are likely my own issues. First, Tommy is 23. Ho...
