Lisa Voisin spent her childhood daydreaming and making up stories, but it was her love of reading and writing romances and fantasy fiction in her teens that drew her to write Young Adult fiction. A life long interest in metaphysics, psychic abilities, and all things paranormal and supernatural compelled her to write a paranormal romance about angels, demons, and a love that spans millennia. Lisa studied English literature at the University of Toronto and worked as a radio operator, copy editor, and technical writer before completing her first novel. She's moved around Canada a few times, settling in Calgary and Toronto before returning to her home town of Vancouver, B.C., where she currently lives with her fiance and their two cats. Some of her favorite authors are Neil Gaiman, Cassandra Clare (Mortal Instruments Series), Holly Black (Modern Faerie Tales) and Richelle Mead (Vampire Academy).When she's not writing, you'll find her meditating or on a hiking adventure in the mountains to counter the side effects of drinking just a bit too much coffee.
