The rhythm of the book is infections and basically begs to be read aloud. The meter and rhyme are perfect with no awkward phrases. The layout of the illustrations and text gives the impression of music and sound surrounding the characters. Overall a fun read.
One Dark Night is a cute book that has a mouse and mole who take on an adventure at night. The embark on a journey to meet a friend for dinner. We also have bear who is very hungry and we get the impression that he is looking for food as he stomps and growls in his den. We both liked how the animals...

He loved the competition aspect of the story. He picked a favorite team and rooted for them through the enti...
Sure to be popular with young boys.
The illustrations in this book are very cute and inventive. The rhyming story was just okay for me. And why on earth did the author choose to make the calico a big burly male cat (with tattoos even). Okay, I know this is *just* a picture book, but Calicos are almost always females so this 'chara...

Pig is understandably nervous, especially when Granny Wolf's loose false teeth cause her to be misheard (will they be having "so...
