I read this with my ten year old son, we both really enjoyed it. My son thought that Joe was very brave. I would recommend this book to any 8 - 12 year old that enjoys adventurous stories, although older readers would enjoy it as well.
Good book for middle graders (or ages 9-14). Joe Dearborne has earned a reputation for being fearless. Fearless...but not necessarily brave. Can you guess what he needs to do in this book?
