TOWN ROCKED BY ACCUSATION
Local community leader Alex Johnson was today taken to the police station for questioning regarding an alleged complaint of sexual abuse by his niece Alicia Russell. Mr. Johnson later strenuously denied the allegations, stating that his niece had recently suffered a case of hysterical amnesia and was now suffering from false memories. Mr. Johnson stated that he felt great concern for his niece, but was sure that the therapy she was undertaking, as well as the assistance of her parents, would help her to make a full mental recovery. Several of Mr. Johnson’s peers have come forward to offer support to Mr. Johnson during this time, and Mr. Johnson has stated that he “is humbled by the support shown to me by the community leaders while this unfortunate error is being rectified.”
There has been no word as to whether Mr. Johnson will be charged for the alleged abuse.
Alicia Russell has woken on a perfectly ordinary morning to find a complete stranger in her bed – make that two complete strangers. The tricky thing is that one of those strangers is her. She has a husband, and three children, and absolutely no memory. The journey she takes as she tries to regain her memory and her identity is a difficult one. She thinks the nightmare is ended when her memory returns, but it brings back things that haunt her and she has to discover if they are true. When she battles reality versus what her mind is learning and what it attempts to know, she reaches out to her family with dark and untold secrets. The lies that are revealed is where she begins.
