I snatch up Kelley Armstrong's books in Women of the Otherworld series as soon as they come out. I'm always confident I'm going to have an engrossing and entertaining read, and this book is no exception. It's a departure from the other novels. Almost all the other books are written from a female f...

This was a fantastic twist in the Otherworld series. Humans thrown into the fray made the book an even more compelling read than usual. I felt really connected to Robyn and loved the different paranormal characters trying to keep her alive.

I think this was my least favorite in the series, so far. :(

I should say I really dislike the character of Hope in this series. It must say something good about Armstrong's talent for creating characters that I have this reaction. I can't stand Hope and that made it impossible for me to finish this book. Mostly because Hope is mentally worrying all the ti...

3.5*s. Not my favorite in the series but still a decent enough read. There are a lot of different POV in this one and with the short chapters I felt like it was the literary equivalent of shaky-cam. Reviewed by: Rabid ReadsThis book is the least Otherworld-ly out of the bunch and, as a result, also the one that I only passably enjoyed. Kelley Armstrong switches up her tried and true format in Living with the Dead and that was a big mistake in my opinion. Instead of sticking with her enthralling...

(audio)I can't hate these two women enough, layer stupid on top of stupid and then cover it with stupid sauce and make them act like spoiled teenagers and you have Hope and Robin. Put them in situations where you need somebody who can help themselves and they do the wrong thing every time. ARGUH !I ...

I got bored about 9/10th through the book so I stopped reading it. Plus I thought it was predictable.

This novel was so unlike the other Otherworld-installments that I needed to take a step back and read the blurb again after I had finished the first few pages. It was entertaining, but new. First of all, Armstrong let several characters narrate the story in the third person POV:Robyn, the new girl, a...

This didn't feel like an Otherworld book. At all. It was deeply disturbing and dark. It featured some characters we know: primarily Hope and Karl, but unlike any of the previous books, this was written in the third person and the real main character was a regular human we've never met before. It's be...
