Well this one was a letdown. I read the twisted tales about Beauty and the Beast and loved how that was set up. This one takes a look at Aladdin and Jasmine and what would have happened if Jafar got to use the lamp and have Genie grant him wishes. I think the biggest problem is that none of the char...

Audience: Young Adult Format: Hardcover/Owned What if Ariel hadn't defeated Ursula? Hmmm.... Well, Ursula would be married to Prince Eric and in control of the kingdom. Triton would be gone and Ariel would be the queen of Atlantica. Ariel also wouldn't have a voice. The book opens 5 years after ...

A retelling of Beauty and the Beast. It starts like the Disney movie but the ending is different. I liked it--a lot! The main characters are there but there are additional characters who flesh out the story and add dimensions that were not there before. The back story is told more and the charac...

I rarely DNF a book, but this one... I tried to get into it, but the writing and characters just grated on me. I was not a big fan of the first book, A Whole New World, but I enjoyed it enough to give this book a try (and will ultimately attempt to read anything with Disney ties). The writing left m...

I received this book via NetGalley to give an honest review. So I have read another book by this author and it was the Twisted Tale #1 A Whole New World which I enjoyed though there were a few things I had questions or issues with. So when I was offered this book to read I jumped on it because I w...

I started this book late one night looking for something to read while I dozed off and thinking a lovely fairy tale retelling would be fun. I finished this book later that same night sitting bolt upright in bed at a completely ridiculous hour. I really do not regret this. Your enjoyment of thi...
