LLYN ROBERTS, M.A.www.llynroberts.comLlyn Roberts is a prominent teacher of healing and shamanism. She teaches ancient methods that can be applied to everyday life in order to turn crisis and fear into opportunities, and which heal us, and our relationship with the Earth. Her work opens an expanded paradigm of well being that is essential to our own and thus to the planet's health in a world that is being rapidly redefined. She holds a master's degree in Tibetan Buddhist and Western Psychology from Naropa University (1985), was a student of the late, Chogyam Trungpa, Rinpoche and is an initiate of shamanic circles in Latin America and Siberia. She led sacred journeys for twenty years to indigenous people living in remote regions of the Amazon basin, the Asian steppes, high Andes and the lands of the ancient Maya. She is former director of the non-profit organization, Dream Change, founded by NY Times best selling author, John Perkins, with whom she co-facilitated indigenous based transformational programs for seventeen years. Llyn is the founder and president of the Olympic Mountain EarthWisdom Circle, a 501 C3 nonprofit dedicated to inspiring a sacred and responsible relationship with the Earth.Roberts translates ancient techniques into modern-day practices to help us transform personal imbalances, open to our higher purpose, deepen our relationship to spirit and nature, and reclaim our power to make a positive difference in the world. Llyn lived at the dye of the wilderness for two years in the Hoh Rain Forest, Olympic Mountains, Pacific Northwest, where she wrote Speaking with Nature. She was supported by her forest guide, Mick Dodge, and while in the Hoh, she facilitated the relationship between National Geographic and Mick Dodge for the prime time series The Legend of Mick Dodge.
